This is the only Batman game I had growing up. While I have fond memories, after playing Arkham Asylum for the first time recently I realized this definitely pales in comparison in almost all areas but I still think this is an underrated game overall. As far as cash grab movie tie-ins go I believe this is definitely above-average in terms of gameplay and faithfulness to the aesthetic and story of the film it was based on. The one area that I think this game actually surpasses Arkham is the stealth. This game sometimes makes you really think hard and strategize about how you approach stealth situations as opposed to Arkham's simplistic and repetitive reliance on utilizing the gargoyles and vents. This game's Fear system is an interesting mechanic too which drives home Batman's ability to use intimidation to give him the upper hand in encounters where you would normally be at a severe or impossible disadvantage
