a really cool game with a pretty interesting story and awesome rts gameplay. the story mode plays like adv game, but what makes it unique is the intertwining stories between the 13 protagonists. i will say it begins with many cliches, but they almost seem intentional, but as the stories moves on it gets much more interesting, and as it closes it wraps up really well. the rts mode of the game is really fun, and while it is fairly easy, getting some of the s-ranks and bonus objectives can be quite challenging. also this is a game that really made me want to complete everything and unlock all the mystery items and complete the bonus objectives in the destruction mode. really its just a great game all around

this is certainly a dark souls game. this feels like miyazaki said "oh you want dark souls 1 again? then i'll give you dark souls 1 again" and makes one of the best fanservice games out there. this has all the aesthetics and references of the first dark souls, and while it tries it's hardest to forget ds2, it doesn't completely omit it from the lore. this game definitely has improvements in fluidity and graphical quality, being that it is in the same engine (i think) as bloodborne. the aesthetics are also beautifully highlighted due to this engine, with breathtaking vast sceneries throughout the game, and some of the most gorgeous boss fights in the fromsoft catalogue. definitely a cool fun souls game.

a pretty great game that I feel suffers from just being too long. Well maybe also because of the horribly dated and annoying as shit random encounter mechanic. Seriously an annoying game mechanic that could have easily made the game more enjoyable if they were either less common, or you could see the enemies on the field so you know when an encounter is coming. still overall a very good game

really a cool game, the hack and slash and frantic combat of this game is exciting, a "roguelite" game that has a big focus on learning the game's combat and improving on permanent upgrades. unique interactions on almost every run you make and it keeps you hooked even after you complete the first run

for a 2002 first person shooter, this game is pretty polished and modern feeling. i know i played the remastered version which i'm sure has a lot of qol improvements, but still, this plays like a very modern game with a lot of fluidity and very little jank. i guess considering it's a nintendo first party game it's expected to have this level of polish. definitely deserving of it's praise even if it's a little short, but i can see how it can have a lot of replay value.

this might be one of the gloomiest stories in a game Ive played. sure it has its anime cliche moments and whatnot, but overall the story is just... dark. this is a game about death. death is around every corner in this game. the main evil in this game is death. but the game is also about coming to terms with death, with the death of others
