Hello there, I just joined up on here and noticed that you'd mentioned Simon Warner a few times. I just wanted to let you know that there's a new SW fansite on facebook (not sure if links are allowed on here, but it's the usual facebook address, then a slash, then simonwarnerfans). We're trying to rally the troops and create some noise, in the hope that at some point in the future we'll be able to coax Mr. Warner out of retirement and hear a completed version of the Never Gets Dark album. Also, there's an article on Simon in the July 2014 edition of Mojo magazine. Many thanks! Pete.
Hi ! "Idol" might one day make it into my list if I can manage to listen through "Blue Moves"... an impossible task for me, tbh... too much of the very same, Elton drowning in melancholy and strings for most of the time... I'd rather finally make it with "Captain Fantastic" I guess ! Thx for your comment :)
Thanks for adding me as friend. Forgotten singer songwriters you may wish to check out Duncan Brown, suggested listening Duncan Brown, Keirh Christmas , timeless and Strange and possibly Claire Hamill, maybe Love in the Afternoon. Cheers Oldrock.
Thank you for the comment on my Symphonies list. I really appreciate it, and I think I'm going to extend the project to 111 Sy6mphonies in 111 Days and do one more cycle, to eleven.
