I would be very grateful if you did translate Los Hermanos songs--any of them, really. There are very few translations out there, and most of them don't make a whole lot of sense. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like the band has a big enough English-speaking fanbase to care! I considered learning Portuguese to understand a lot of MPB artists, but I just don't have the time these days.

I appreciate your giving it a try. It totally makes sense that idiomatic phrases, symbolism, etc. are very difficult to translate. From what I can tell, that's certainly the case with "Dois Barcos."
