Anything nationalistic and not putting Israel first will be called fascism. They even tried to paint Pat Buchanan as a Nazi. It's amazing how bad the media has always been.

To be fair, the numbers did seem to fluctuate for a while before finally settling on 6 million, a number that cropped up here and there long before WWII.

He also called said congress was "Israeli occupied territory". Trump should push to ban all duel-citizens from government.

You are an eclectic rymer indeed. Then again, I am too, I have two John Denver CDs myself, he was a pretty good songwriter, and so uplifting and inspiring. There was this sort of lounge chair which, when one sat down in it, it sort of sucked them in and gobbled them up. Lurid! Note: for anyone else who reads this, that last bit refers to Dr Who, not a John Denver song!

I agree. John Denver is actually a great songwriter. Though I admit, and there is no element of peer pressure, but I do genuinely tend to mostly prefer somewhat stranger, more challenging and sometimes slighter sicker stuff. My loss, weird stuff has a definite attraction, but Mr Denver's work is so good for the soul. In fact I spent many years, until quite recently, as a telephone counsellor, and I once had a call from a bloke - and no reason to doubt him - who said he was an electrical/lights man for John Denver's Aussie tour. As I expect you know, John died in a plane crash, but this bloke I was chatting with said he was so rich he could have afforded a top of the range private aircraft, but was so humble and nonmaterialistic he bought an old run-down plane because it didn't cost so much. Thus his commitment to living simply cost him his life! Myself though, I've no doubt he's in Heaven. As he was such a good man. (These assertions may bear discussion!) We're left here on Earth listening to all sorts of strange stuff (lol), but John Denver's music was really special, I've shown my colours on my review of his 1988 album "Higher ground", and in fact also mentioned him warmly in my review of Joy Division's "Closer".

I'm listening to all of my Holdsworth, starting from Soft Machine's "Bundles". He's the greatest guitarist of all time, in my view.

Totally agree. Bill Burr and Joe Rogan are very entertaining.

Great insight-- thank you for the response! I think I could have imagined the pop shift working back then for Yes and Genesis, but that's just because they already had a keen ear for melody and hooks. Gentle Giant going pop makes even less sense than King Crimson trying pop or something. At the same time, the success of a transition like that would ultimately depend on how sincere it was.
