I've been a pop/rock fan since the mid-eighties, in my mid-teenage years. I was brought up in a Christian family, and have been one myself since childhood. My parents were quite anti-rock for a while, and were not excited when I, and my sister, started getting interested in the scene, but they eventually softened when they realised that neither of us were becoming demons from Hell. :-) Or being possessed by them.
I have since become something of a collector of music, with a growing interest in heavy metal, particularly power metal, without forsaking my beloved eighties, new wave scene.
