IMPORTANT: I do actually listen to (and play - violinist/clarinettist here!) classical music, I just don't rate it because, in most cases, I'd essentially be rating the composition instead of the interpretation. *raises flame shield* Classical (well, Romantic-20th century) music is my favourite genre, even though I come across as and am a huge metalhead. That last bit isn't a contradiction in terms. :)

I'm 224 SHIT and I'm worried about the integrity of my neck already. Living the dream

-Ratings of 4.5+ indicate albums which are very emotionally/mentally investing (on their own terms, not because of the circumstances surrounding them). Any album that doesn't produce some kind of transcendental state of mind (yeah, I know) gets capped at 4. Sorry if I ruined the rating for your favourite album.
2 is below average. 2.5 is slightly above average. THERE IS NO IN-BETWEEN.

I don't watch films very often - maybe three or four a year, one of which is at the cinema. I've got a big list of dystopian/nuclear incident/general SF films to watch, though - more recommendations welcome (the more run-down and oppressive the better!), maybe it'll inspire me to actually start watching some of this stuff.
