Rating system in a nutshell:
5.0 - perfection / massive personal importance
4.5 - highly fantastic, very high acclaim
4.0 - a great album, worth a lot of love
3.5 - a good album. Think of this as the standard positive rating
3.0 - alright, listenable/enjoyable even if flawed/nothing special
2.5 - flawed but not a disaster
2.0 - weak, unexciting, uninteresting, wonky
1.5 - bad, with maybe some teeny-tiny spots of light
1.0 - just straight-up bad. The lowest normal rating.
0.5 - reserved for albums of exceptional, rage-inducing badness
