yeah the thing about states like that is nobody really stays there. Though you are quite close to Chi that's right. I have friends from Fox Point, Mequon and Whitefish Bay.

yeah man I know how that is. I'm from Bloomington which is the suburb with the Mall of America and now I live like 20 minutes north right next to downtown Minneapolis. Even then it's still a small town. Minneapolis is smaller than Milwaukee in terms of population; it's the twin cities combined that's a big metro area. I've lived here my whole life so I travel a lot to get away... it's a nice affordable place to live but I'm practically ready to make the leap to NYC or something.

man I think everybody has a big crush on Seattle. It's one of my favorite cities too but you hear it get discussed a LOT especially here in Mpls where we value the same things they do. It's really pretty and clean and organized and stable, lots of tech people and culture. Probably my 2nd favorite city
