Could never appreciate its art direction. The government and policy system is alright, its wide-tall balance is alien to me and I couldn't understand it. May change the rating if I give it a go again.

The map looks terrible, the units are all reskins, even the DLC ones. Really uninspired design. The religion mechanic and migrations are really cool and I appreciated leading migratory tribes to weird locations on the map. Nothing too terrible, nothing really good.

The environments are repetitive to an annoying degree, the story is pretty good, but nothing special. Some companions are just bizarre or rigid to a ridiculous degree.
