This game sets the standard for what all RPGs should be from this point forward. It is amazingly crafted and makes sure that your choices matter and change the world around you in a satisfying, if not always good, way

Great game, so long as one has all the DLC. The blending of immersion, mystique and "larger-than-life" plots is very well-done. The Cultural and Religious systems could have been less stiff, like they are in its successor.

One of the best RPGs to have ever been made. I did not even need mods to play it for most of my playthroughs, only adding in cosmetics and armor. There are constant choices and outcomes here and they all interact with the rest of your choices and impact the ending.

Back when Creative Assembly was still a respectable studio making games with passion. The game works perfectly, the units have the exact sort of dynamism, impact, shock etc that you would expect from them. Truly amazing.

Too much content was cut out and needs mods to be restored, the world feels empty at times. After you start playing with mods, there is no going back

One of the best RPG games in existence, probably the best modern Fantasy RPG. The Unofficial patch makes it a complete gem, some parts of the vanilla are only half-done unfortunately. I wish I could have spent more time in some sections and had more interactions with some characters.
