On illegal copies / cd-rs:

For the record, I hate illegal copies of music. The only reason I have any cd-rs are the fact that many of my legitamately purchased CDs were stolen from my car in a break-in. And a student of mine for some reason gave me a Nine Inch Nails CD completely unsolicited.
