Desplat's theme for one of the Twilight movies was excellent. I think it was New Moon. They got a bunch of indie bands together for the sdtk and he did the score I think, though I can't confirm it as I've never actually had to sit through it.

I liked your review of The Letting Go. Dawn McCarthy is indeed a high point of the album, lending it a 60's folk feel at times (a higher-pitched Shirley Collins comes to mind).

Yeah, I've lived in one suburb or another of Cleveland my entire life. I'd like to live somewhere in the northwest or even B.C, but I doubt I'll ever get the gumption to actually go through with it. What brought you back?
