I just wanted to say that I love how so many of your reviews mention you being drunk at the time you're writing them. I've written so many of my reviews while in the middle of a long wine binge that I can completely, totally relate. hahaha :)
Hi. I loved your review of Blue Sky. When RYM first added films to the database, I considered that movie to be my favorite of all time, and that's why it was the very first film that I added to the database. Jessica Lange has been one of my favorite actresses of all time ever since King Kong, another of my all-time favorite films. I guess I just like Blue Sky so much for personal reasons. Two of my favorite actors both have great chemistry together. (Note: they also played together in a cable version of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.) And I just love the way he loves her in that movie. But your second-to-last paragraph about the irony of that line for you made me laugh out loud. I've never actually seen A Woman Under the Influence though. Cheers, Irene.
We might've already talked about this but your message board post about people nostalgic for a time that they didn't live in is one of the best things on this whole site.
Five versions sounds a lot closer to sanity than eight. I was actually surprised the number was that low for me. I suspect there might be more in my record collection I don't know about. :-)
You're an RYM hero dude
