Hey, I think you're correct about the Fridjid Pink debut, I don't notice that instantly but the mix may be what keeps this record from being better. It's very professionally done actually - hence the focus on the vocals. That makes it accessible I guess, but the guitar is really the best part on the album and its sort of underappreciated through the mix.
Yeah, about the same man, working and living. Though lately there have been many concerts and a shift towards Classical Music. Symphonies and Orchestral pieces mostly, shit that simply kicks ass. It's heavier than metal for sure. Now, I don't recall if it was you or me, but I did find more Catapilla and pretty much dig it all. Though that breakout album is the best. Good to hear from you, man.....
Hey man. I bet you knew that the band took their name from the Karova Milk Bar from Clockwork Orange. Indeed, what I loved was the variety. Most of the psych I hear from today is more jam-band and samey. This was eclectic as fuck
So anyway, how are you these days? Seems neither of us are as active at RYM as we used to be. Well, for me anyway. Busy with work and the concert craziness.
