Isometric

Isometric video games are played from an aerial view above the player character. It has an inclinated camera angle that can be isometric, trimetric or dimetric and fixed or movable. This can be done with either full 3D graphics or with a perspective inclination done with 2D graphics that gives a 3D depth. The perspective is characteristic of isometric CRPG and isometric platformer and common in strategy games.
