Extended Reality (XR) in the context of video games refers to a range of technologies that combine aspects of the real world with virtual elements to create immersive gaming experiences. This encompasses virtual reality where players are fully immersed in a virtual environment; augmented reality which overlays digital elements onto the real world; and Mixed Reality (MR), which seamlessly blends virtual and real-world elements.
