In a grim and twisted landscape stands a tower whose inhabitants pass judgement upon those with wicked hearts, purging the evil from their souls with torturous methods. Accused of bearing darkness within him, the tower's newest prisoner must escape his captors and return to the location of his only surviving memory—a statue depicting a woman surrounded by hands—in order to uncover its significance. However, he finds himself in a nightmarish world containing moral quandaries with sinister solutions, and deceitful strangers in need of his help block his every step towards progress. His choices will determine the fate of his soul, already burdened by his forgotten sin.
The atmosphere is kind of ruined by how easy the puzzles are. It's hard to feel oppressed by the heavy atmosphere when a fourth-grader could breeze through it.
