A fine and competent game, although not as original or ambitious as other Cain/Boyarsky games (people should really stop comparing it with New Vegas). Also, the snarkiest and most dark-humored dialogue writing in the genre since, well, what do you know, Arcanum and the first two Fallout games.
I think Xbox needed to show their acquisitions had stuff in the works so they made a quick announcement about it, but we likely won't see a lot until Avowed is out.
^ I had pretty much the same issue the first two (or three?) times I tried playing this. I have no idea whether it's actually related to this but this time around I got the Spacer's Choice edition for like $11 and the camera and gunplay are a lot more functional.
Now that the camera and performance are bearable, now it all comes down to the mixed bag of dialogue and the pitiful early game weapon variety!
