It's really a shame that a perfectly decent game like this can be made to feel so underwhelming in the shadow of its predecessor. There's nothing about this game that I can point to as being particularly bad or even mediocre, it's just that almost everything about it fails to quite measure up to RKA. The art is good, but feels like it has less character. The music is fine, but isn't nearly as memorable. The core gameplay is okay, but doesn't feel as smooth or satisfying as the original, and the lack of run-and-gun elements feels like a shred of the first game's identity was lost. It's a good game, but I just don't see myself replaying it nearly as often as I will RKA, which I come back to regularly.
