      Sonic and Tails' are OK, Knuckles' is boring but not awful, the rest of them are awful. Even as a dumb kid I knew the Big the Cat stuff was garbage/BS.

    Here's a game that's hard to comment on in the sense that it is incredibly ambitious, detailed, and impressive, particularly in its visual presentation, while also incredibly bad in its game design choices. Glitches, awful camera controls, poor enemy design and placement, etc., make a lot of the stages more fun to look at than they are mechanically to play. But this game came out in 1998! It would have been incredible for the time. I can't call it a classic as much as I'd like to, but I can't hate it either.
