I think this is the only game I've ever played that takes full advantage of the medium, the way the narrative organically unfolds through the gameplay makes it virtually impossible to translate it to a book or movie or anything else but a video game
I wish this game didn't make me contagiously nauseous (as in it starts to make me get nauseous even playing other games) cause the format is really cool and i still haven't uncovered the mystery. Also the fish dimension is so hard and so terrifying
I haven't played a game this boring in a long time. It feels like every location in the game exists to give you a single puzzle piece and it never feels like you're ever growing or progressing. Perhaps it proves that the "games without hand holding are better" thing that so many people insist on isn't really true, because OW just feels like overly vague noise for its own sake.
I'm going to have to disagree, when I played this I felt like I was constantly learning and progressing, and even more importantly the progression felt completely natural. Imo that's the genius of the game's design. And I say this as someone who strongly dislikes the more obtusely designed puzzles/progression in older games like a link to the past.
If you’re not enjoying the progression or feel it’s too vague then don’t worry about turning to a guide
