Title
Underwhelming and FRUSTRATING

Delsin is not the main protagonist you want in a inFAMOUS game and the gameplay is straight up repetitious and tedious as hell. Do the same 100 DUP objectives over and fucking OVER!!!. Reggie is the only likeable thing about this game and even he is annoying at the beginning. Average. (5.5/10)

When PS4 first came out, we all knew lack of quality games was going to be a big issue for the first few years, its only natural with the newer console generation, PS3 took a good 3 or 4 years after its launch to reach its golden era, so Second Son was one of the first big PS4 games, and it wasn't even really marketed as a full retail game, more like a short, fun one that draws its style and inspiration from the previous Infamous games. This is a completely different story than the other games with different characters and a different location, and quite honestly, I'm fine with that, even if I found the main character in this to be way more annoying than Cole, sure Cole was more generic but at least he didn't get on my nerves. This sort of plays like the other games, you have similar electrical powers and are in an open world fighting similar enemies. This game gives you more powers, some of which are sort of amusing, and some of which are just lame. Its kind of cool how this is set in Seattle and the graphics were pretty decent, but I just didn't like the story or characters at all, the story felt really dull and I gave no shits about any of the characters. Plus the main villain in this was really lame. Sure the other 2 Infamous games definitely had their share of lame moments and lets not forget Zeke was a thing in the first Infamous, but my god did I just not give two shits about any of the characters in this remotely at all. I mean its a pretty short experience too, and isn't really what I'd consider a full game, it feels more like an expansion to another game. So yeah back in early 2014 this might have been one of the better PS4 games, but now it has long been forgotten and its really not a game I will ever touch again.

      Completely agree. It's not as strong as Infamous 2 but boy has this game aged like fine wine. It was truly ahead of its time.

    Pretty deflated experience next to inFamous 2- not necessarily bad, but really feels feeble compared to the insane level of fun of i2.
