One of the best gachas I've ever played, which isn't saying much, because gachas are fundamentally bad games. Most "positives" that surround how Nikke fits within the genre is usually preceded by "despite being a gacha". Most of its negatives can be qualified as "as expected of a gacha game". It really doesn't matter if the strategic/synergistic team building is good and interesting, you still will have to pull for characters to break the level 160 wall, and the 180 core dust wall, and reroll for gear, and bla bla bla. It certainly doesn't help that the prices are needlessly inflated compared to other gachas and that, despite being above average with it's freemium content, the predatory "just whale it, dude" is still there. Good quality garbage, I guess.
