It is NES Donkey Kong but better in basically every way. One more level for better replayability, the vine climbing system which is cool, and some neat ideas for levels. Still though the replayability and sheer content in general is very much limited and I'm not really into "endless runner"/high score games.

Also if anyone is turned off by OG Donkey Kong’s awkward movement, this game feels 100 times better in that regard. Still some annoyances like fall damage being a thing, but this game feels fluid in a way the first doesn’t. Particularly love how clinging to 2 vines is faster for climbing upward, but 1 vine is faster for sliding down. There’s a surprising amount of depth in the movement and after beating this game and resetting to the first stage, I just wanted to keep going for the high score
