An RE light gun shooter sounds good on paper, but is middling in execution. Its not BAD. But its not GOOD either. A technical upgrade on Umbrella Chronicles, but I mean, who exactly was the target audience? Certainly not House of The Dead fans. That shit clears this game by a country mile.

It's pretty good, but we seem to look at it with Rose tinted lenses. It's not the end all be all like it's cracked up to be.

It's one of those "good enough" games. The early 2000s were full of them. The kinda game that came out as half the price of a huge triple A title and was good enough for the money. Essential to what I would consider to be a complete game library, like a complete meal. The gameplay isn't groundbreaking, but isn't completely awful. It's a motocross game. Does what it says on the tin.

Pretty damn good. I have put it down as of recent though, since as much as I like fighting games, I lack the skill to play competitively. Online VS is really the only thing you can do after beating the story and going through a bunch of towers. Managed to squeeze more money out of me via the Aftermath expansion. Robocop broken as hell.

Though a little mindless at times, it's as strong an homage to Mad Max that I think we'll ever get, despite most of it's lore being set in the Fury Road incarnation of the series. And yes, Max has always been a better side character than protagonist. This definitely shows it here.

A solid start to what grew into something special. Who knew just a few years later that we'd get the most perfect wrestling game ever created? And the roots are still here, albeit clunky.

A solid enough MMA game made during the time when we still labeled MMA as Human Cockfighting. Has a weird fighting game health bar though so fights rarely last more than 30 seconds.
