I noticed you gave The Double Life of Veronique a 5. You really need to watch the Three Colors trilogy if you love Double Life that much! Kieslowski is the best.

I'm curious about how Linklater is going to do Before Midnight since the ending of Sunset was so abrupt like you said... I'm definitely looking forward to it though, hopefully it will play in my local cinema when it comes out. I'm sure you'll love the Three Colors trilogy, it's fantastic. I think that Red is not only Kieslowski's greatest achievement, but one of the greatest films ever. All three films are beautiful though.

You should watch A Tree in Tanjung Malim [丹绒马林有棵树], I think you'd enjoy it a lot. I certainly did!

I finally watched Lettre d'un cinéaste à sa fille. I thought it was fantastic! Definitely one of the best essay films I've seen, and quite unlike any others that I know of as well. It was so charming.
