Yeah, I just bumped it up to a 4. I spent pretty much all my listening yesterday when I had time on it alone. It's nutty. I love noise-inflected music that lets melody bleed in like that, I'm an absolute sucker for it. Their previous album is good too, though definitely a bit more harsher and less pretty at times, which is why the new one caught me a bit off guard.

yeah, no doubt man. And Rising Tide was the first thing I ever heard from them so with the exception of Diary, their other stuff was hard for me to get into on the same level.

I see you enjoyed Regressions! Totally forgot about that album till I listened to A Stirring in the Noos (which I found eh) but was reminded of how wild Matt Hollenberg is (and everything else) on the former.

Good call, just did. And I have not heard of them! Definitely looks interesting so I'm gonna listen to that pretty soon. Your description of vocals have me really intrigued...but also hesitant, ha.
