sorry so long to respond, busy week....

I can understand only using this place as a reminder/ checklist kinda thing. I did that when i first started, but now i love to connect with people even who dont exactly like the same music as me, and even who initially didnt like me. i think its been my favorite online community, maybe besides Phys.org - that place is pretty awesome too. A lot of my freinds on here are very kind, intelligent, and open people.

and yeah i don't sleep very much. anxiety and insomnia is a combo of garbage, lol. I would say of my waking adult life, music has been at least 60 percent of it. and its been a long decade-ish on rym. but anyway, yeah. what kinda music we gonna talk about first? did you see anything on my 2015 list that looked interesting?

Hey, thanks for the add. Regarding Swans, I personally love their work (especially the later stuff), because of the really dark, twisted atmosphere in a lot of their songs. I think it's their continual efforts to go against the mainstream that drew me towards their music, but hey, it's not going to be for everyone.
