Disclaimer: My ratings are 100% my opinion. Influence and where an album (film as well) stands in history has zero significance on how I rate. I can appreciate a bands influence, but I strictly rate on how the album sounds to me at the present time of my listening to it.

I judge albums on songwriting skills, memorability, and musicianship; and in that order. Whether anyone thinks it's fair or not, lyrics have little to no effect on my ratings. The vocalist to me is just another instrument, and I couldn't care less what they are singing about.

Instead of listing 100+ bands I love, I'll just say if you want to know my favorite bands, simply check the 4.0 and up ratings. Anything I rate above 4 is something I would easily recommend. 3.0 and 3.5 are decent to good albums, but not anything that is worth hearing to anyone other than diehard fans of the band or genre. Anything 2.5 and under are varying degrees of annoyance.
