ゼノギアス

the game is longer than most rpgs of the era, for sure, but i don't think it's entirely fair to call it slow. the game is constantly moving forward with exposition, to the point where i can understand if someone feels like there's *too much* story. however, it's not some slog where you go for extended periods of time with very little story happening and there's not really much filler either. it's very much a game for people who are all about story in rpgs. the battling isn't special, but rarely is the combat ever a particularly high point for any (non strategy) turn based rpg, let alone ones where the story is actually worth a damn
