This is a hidden gem. It really feels like an early-00s era 3D platformer that was remastered for the present. The story is heartwarming and visuals stand out like if Wind Waker had more of storybook vibe to it. The soundtrack oftentimes builds in layers like a minimalistic Steve Reich composition. The gameplay is fluid, and one main mechanic is especially exhilarating.

Somehow a strange, beautiful mix of Mario Sunshine and Wind Waker. The gameplay is borderline awful, but it passes just enough to let the fantastic writing shine.
