1) A lot of games here that I own may or may not be pirated and/or emulated. A side effect of this is that I don’t take price into account when I rate games.

2) To me a 10/10 game represents either the sheer absolute pinnacle of a genre, or a game that vibes with me extremely strongly for extremely personal reasons, even if they may not be perfect in other areas.

3) My ratings may seem to be very positive skewering but please remember that video games, unlike music or movies, are an active medium. When I realize that I'm not gonna enjoy a game, it's way way harder for me to stick with it than it is with an album/movie. So naturally I finish games I like, and I don't wanna be unfair and rate games that I haven't progressed quite a bit in.
