    For those uninitiated, this game directly (and indirectly) inspired so many games, I'd definitely put it in top 10 most influential games ever.
    Here's a short list and I'm probably missing some:

    Elder Scrolls: Arena -> Daggerfall -> Morrowind -> Oblivion -> Skyrim
    System Shock -> BioShock -> Dead Space
    Deus Ex
    Half-Life 2
    Tomb Raider
    Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

      Thief -> MGS & Splinter Cell -> Hitman & Assassin's Creed. Funny thing is the stealth in this game is awful, might as well not exist outside of the spells due the balancing, but because of the AI developments that were mostly combat focused the team were able to go on to make stuff like Thief.
