My impression is it will basically be for Life is Strange, what 400 Days was for The Walking Dead: A kind of side story/prelude to season 2, focused on a character who I'm guessing will be a minor character in the main game. I could be wrong and there could be more to it than that, but that's what I'm expecting.
Well, it's not very good, unfortunately. Dontnod are on a slump at the moment, between this and the awful Vampyr, so I'm feeling nervous about Life is Strange 2, now.
The exploration and super hero stuff is neat, but the actually story is too short, insubstantial and feels like manufactured garbage, and this is coming from a big fan of the first LiS, as well as most of Before the Storm.
Yeah, I really don't think I want to pay that much for it, considering I didn't like this very much. Vampyr also didn't feel nearly polished enough to be a full price game, yet it was. I kinda hate when indie companies start having success, only to suddenly get greedy and kinda turn their backs on people who helped them achieve success in the first place. That appears to be happening with Dontnod, now.
