this is why i use backloggd. everything is separate because they aren't just "updated versions of the same game." differences between the different versions of Street Fighter 2 for example are so drastic that nobody plays entries like World Warrior anymore unless that's all you have.
the graphics, roster, balance, music, game speed, glitches, etc. will vary heavily between versions. like you can't just go to a local and be like "yeah guys so i know this was supposed to be a super turbo session but i forgot it at home, but i brought World Warrior" and expect a positive response because they are completely different games. hell, different entries of Street Fighter 2 don't even run on the same hardware.
and it's funny 'cause that's something I dislike about backloggd. all those are modified or updated versions of the same game, and are oftentimes advertised as such by the publisher.
being a 3rd strike gamer, i cant get over how atrocious the art direction is here. the entire game is so devoid of personality. lifeless UI, safe character designs, forgettable music. that being said, the game is fun enough to play, at least at a low level
