Star Wars: Battlefront II

I'll second that Saga Edition mod. There are plenty of cool mods, including some major ones still being worked on, but if you just want one simple mod that adds more excellent content and still provides some of the best gameplay experiences, that's for sure the one to get.

so just realized this exists, is the new one a remake?

Is there really no worthy successor to this series? I feel like Battlefield came close, but ultimately fell short.

This one was a significant downgrade to the first game in almost every way; clunky maps, crappy UI, tedious campaign, overcomplicated controls... There's just no reason to play it, unless you really love the Jedi/Sith playability. For me, simply playing as one of the troopers or droids was what made me enjoy the first game so much.

This game is so badly designed, like, all your teammates die so quickly and you're left on your own to try and capture a point against infinitely respawning enemies. The first game is infinitely better.
