the environments, music and overall atmosphere in this game is among the best in the series. the enemy and zombie variety alone is so good. shame it's the black sheep over issues that could have so easily been fixed (item box, no two slot items, no damn monkeys, better hookshot implementation or just scrap it). 3.13 is still too harsh imo
Possible to play for 20 minutes and achieve nothing besides getting to a roadblock, having to backtrack for an item you left on the floor behind 10 door animations, and then return to the road block.
Gorgeous game and still looks great today. But has one of the worst game design choice changes I have ever witness in a game. The removal of the item box, which is an RE staple and is as far as I am aware, only RE6 and RE8 are the only other mainline games to not have a storage/item box feature. Why they would remove it is beyond me.
