Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus

É difícil avaliar Into the Nexus. O núcleo do gameplay segue intacto entre as coisas mais divertidas dos video games pra mim, mas nesse caso me pergunto se é mérito do jogo ou de seus antecessores, que construíram essa fórmula.

O terceiro episódio da trilogia do PS3 simplesmente não está à altura de outros jogos da série, seja pela duração curtíssima, piora técnica ou a pouca criatividade geral.

Felizmente, traz alguns elementos interessantes à lore que, embora pouco integrem o gameplay em Into the Nexus, são parte mais integral à experiência de seu sucessor cronológico, Rift Apart. Então, não dá pra dizer que esse é um jogo inútil à série.

Ratchet's final adventure before the 2016 reboot, and it's a fine but low-key note to go out on. It's back to the general platformer/shooter style of the series, but above average weapon loadout and enemies that actually lead their shots this time provides greater involvement with the combat. The 2D sections are also surprisingly well-executed, but the zero gravity elements are underdeveloped, and it's all over way too quickly. A sci-fi epic clearly needed a bigger development cycle than a game a year, but at least this would get a happy ending with the reboot, and Into The Nexus still succeeds at scratching that itch.
