I remember being like, 8 and having the guide for this but not the game. My friend had the game but he could never get past brock because even his level 17 pikachu couldn't beat an onix (for obvious reasons). Shout out to that guidebook - Brock is really only beatable by getting a butterfree because it learns confusion on evolution.

I stole this game from one of my friends when i was younger, he never got it back and i dont know why he never asked me for it back so i just kept it.

Yellow is worse than Red/Blue in every regard, except for the E4 movesets and the fact that you can acquire all 3 starters in one run. The Gym Leader's teams are really dumbed down (Surge, Sabrina, Koga especially), there's less variety in the Wild Pokemon you can encounter (Cinnabar Mansion is the worst victim of this) I recently forced myself to do a run where I had to use Pikachu in every big battle first until it fainted and it proves what a stupid idea it was to make a version based on just Pikachu. The only way you can beat strong trainers is with Double Team/Toxic shenanigans.

this is money grab. It's tha same game with a ikachu following you. Yes, they updated the sprites to be like the anime desings... still, a scam
