Title
The early access experience, before it was a thing.
I kinda felt let down when Wolfire Games released the 1.0 version. This game was in development for almost 10 years, yet it went nowhere. The core mechanics (movement & combat) are fine, but everything else feels more like a community mod rather than a polished game that justifies the hefty price tag of $30. The Story, the levels, the performance... it just feels off. Not a bad game, but considering what you can get for less money, it's not worth the full price.

    It has really good gameplay mechanics but the level design kinda ruins it. The remade Lugaru levels are surprisingly better than the main levels though.

    i really really love the mechanics of this game, I think the way it makes combat very erratic and improvisational is alot like Hotline Miami, and if this had good levels or some good presentation to go along with the Incredible mechanics, it would have been something really really special. it's a shame really.

    Just went open source. Maybe this can get optimized a bit more? I like the game a lot, but despite my high-end gaming PC this runs kinda crummy.
