few games captured my child brain's imagination like this one did
i get that story and writing is not Wolfire's MO nor is it really their strong suit, but i have always wanted this world to be explored more. turner has the makings of an iconic protagonist especially with his arc, but they do little with it.
playing this remade in overgrowth is (mostly) the superior experience, but that comes at the cost of mangling what made this take on the story interesting for the sake of some semblance of continuity
an important footnote in the history of indie games, but sadly mostly left behind by its creators
