  Maybe the opinion changed? There was definitely a period where as far as I saw, people preferred NSMBU. In the long run nostalgia and greater sales will give NSMBW a boost

Playing this game, mario 1, mario 3 and galaxy 2 on the wii as a kid made me a mario fan, but also a video game fan in general.
