I'm starting to question if this game has been seeing a regrowth from tiktok or something. It's been coming up more in meme culture and I hear people talk about it, and my sisters started playing it again.

This game is such a time parasite but I persist for some reason. This is probably my most played game of all time to be honest. I just can't bring myself to add increments to my play count.

Best incremental game I've played, mainly because of the music. The game is also surprisingly "generous" with gems (generous being a relative term). Like all incremental games, this ultimately felt like a shallow, unfun waste of time. Once you have 10+ islands, collecting from them all is such a slog and the charm of the music is lost

I completely understand the rating on this because honestly this game is extremely hard to fully get into. When you start out, the longest you could make an average play session where you actually make any progress would be like 1-5 minutes, and for most players it makes it really tempting to buy currency packs. But in the late stages of the game, there's so much to do and keep track of that my play sessions land from 30 minutes to 3 hours, and my currency production rate is insane enough to the point where the in game prices of the packs are nothing short of absurd or shocking to me. Point being that this game is hard to love for a long time and that's if you stay dedicated.
