Dreams is hard to rate because its essentially a game that can be whatever it wants, it lets the players create their own genre, they can make it a puzzle, an action, a shooter, an RPG, a side scroller. Dreams is a game that lets players basically make their own games and its kind of hard to rank.
I guess my main issue with Dreams is it has a lot of potential but players haven't quite reached it yet. I played most of the top rated creations and for a lot of them the controls felt a little awkward, and if they were there own games, most of them wouldn't be great, but seeing that they were created in this game by players using this games engine ends up making them better than they normally would be. The action creations and ones that involve sword combat felt a bit wonky and even a bit limited in what you could do and enemy design was a bit repetitive. The best games in this I found were the ones the revolved around puzzles and humor, and reminded me a bit of the Stanley Parable. Unfortunately, Dreams has few and far between creations I found worthy of going back to after the first play. There are a variety of creations that are really good too, a lot of the 2D and side scrollers are well designed, and even a few fun racing ones, but the problem is were just too early in this games cycle. When players spend months creating unique dreams with deep stories and visuals. Plus the controls can be a bit awkward too, but this still is a game with lots of potential and if fully utilized could end up being a 5 star game in the future, but right now I think we're too early on. Also I have to say I really did enjoy the story mode a lot, it was really creative and well put together about a jazz bass player who is going through self doubt and is trying to overcome his demons and get back with his old bandmates. It has a variety of fun mini-games and some cool puzzles and segments. If we could get dreams of this level from most players this game would be limitless in the enjoyment you can get out of it.

I don't really see a need for a mouse, since the dualshock acts as a mouse with extra buttons. Also, keyboard support *technically* exists, you can use it to fill textboxes. More support would be cool tho.
