    tons of fun and the game is super clever but the witch is just not fun at all and the fact that you have to beat the game as her is just ughhhhhhhhhhh

      nvm actually, she is not so bad once you know how to abuse (do not look if you want to experiment with the game mechanics) freeze spells

    I was really enjoying this, up until the point where it seemed like a couple of the episodes became incredibly luck-based. felt like I was doing everything right and still losing through no fault of my own. oh well, may well revisit it at some point and discover I was doing something wrong

      I have noticed the AI making poor choices about how to use their dice, that kinda offsets the randomness at least a little I guess

    Love the art and sound design.
    I wish the Gear "cards" had some art or something, à la Slay the Spire.

    RNG is part of the game, but some runs left a bad taste in my mouth due to bad rolls.

    I find Robot to be the most fun, I don't even like playing anyone else that much, but Witch is the only one I truly dislike.

    It's all fun and games until you're the witch and get to fight upgraded Rose as your first opponent. Instant do-over.

    This is a fantastic game, though. Super enjoyable on the go on the Switch; it seems the kind of game made to be played in short spurts while commuting or taking a quick break. Fantastic soundtrack and art direction.
