A fine little introduction to the Steam Deck. A few moments that made me laugh which isn't bad when you consider that it's the runtime of a tv show. It's just tough when there Astro's Playroom that was an experience while doing similar things, that this just feels empty. You wouldn't regret playing this if you just got a Steam Deck, but you don't miss much if you do.

Aperture Desk Job is basically a short game to demo the steam deck that disguises itself as a pixar movie. The actual ways it uses the steam deck are very limited, and pretty much boil down to a fixed turret shooter. The main appeal of the title is really the great brand of absurdist comedy that it plays for the 30 minutes runtime. It has a very similar tone to the Portal series, though more lighthearted and comical.

This sort of game has no replay value at all, but i was satisfied at the end.

Valve always gets great voice actors and realistic animations for their games. Its impressive how much they can humanize the robots present in the game. I just wish they could apply their skills to a complete proper game.

    Very impressive as a tech demo for the Steam Deck, and verry funny to boot. I wish there was some kind of post-game where you had the option to mess around with the desk some more as a way to get more acquainted with the controls and hardware the Deck provides.
