Decent gameplay when it comes to traversal and puzzles, but the combat is repetitive. And writing is really bland. I expected so much more from Terry Pratchett's daughter. Still, it's almost decent even after 11 years since its premiere.

One of the greatest disappointments in my gaming life. It was advertised as a mix of Baldur's Gate (fantasy setting and props) and Fallout (turn-based gameplay and dark and dirty atmosphere), and to some extent it was. But it was also not fun to play. The story wasn't captivating and combat was a difficult chore. I think I played for like two or three days and gave up.

Crazy premise that suggested cool game, but alas the gameplay is too clunky. Shame really.

Pretty nice puzzle game. Nice idea and gameplay, but the sudden spike in difficulty in the end left me slightly annoyed. All in all, decent beta before P2.

Technically it's a pretty good RPG, very Baldur's like. But it has some deficiencies that make rate it so low. First, the beginnings are quite difficult. The game doesn't offer a pleasant runway, which I'd really appreciate. Secondly, after I finish the first act and kill the Stag Lord, I just can't make myself play this game. I just don't care.

Decent horror game. As a person who enjoys QTEs, I like the gameplay. The difficulty level is well-adjusted. My only issue is with the moments player has to keep still- the controller is hyper-sensitive, and I failed most of such challenges. When it comes to the story, it was pretty ok. However, I didn't really like most of the characters, so it wasn't as captivating for me. [spoiler]And I really hate the Wendigos design. They all looked like stretched Gollums with fangs[/spoiler]. All in all, pretty average game. Even though I managed to save only one character, I have no intention of returning to it.

Another Diablo-clone with nothing special to offer. A time-waster for 8-10 hours, but nothing more.

Turn-based game about a group of futuristic spies. I love the idea and cyberpunkish vibe, but the game is too relentless. Even on Beginner difficulty I got beaten quickly and easily.

First mission was way too difficult on Normal, so fuck this game.

Even after 11 years since its premiere, this is still a marvellous game. And its biggest strength? The gameplay. Silky smooth, whether you traverse the city or chain crazy combos, it is pure fun, and I can easily see myself returning to Arkham City repeatedly in the future. The soundtrack and dubbing are stellar as well, as is the story. Heck, even graphics don't look too bad. The only thing I didn't really like is the daunting number of Riddler's collectibles and puzzles. I don't see myself maxing this one ever. Still, this is the best entry in the overall great series.

The gore is awesome, the gameplay isn't.

It's a bit like a soap opera, where not much is happening, but you play, because its colourful world let's you forget about reality. I mean it's not a bad game. Basically every aspect of it is decent: story, world, gameplay, etc. It's just not very exciting. But there is something comforting in capturing all outposts or completing plot missions. I guess this is why I played for almost 70hrs. When it comes to obvious faults, apart from Pagan Min, all the NPCs are annoying or bland. The worst being Longinus and the two druggies (why Ajay doesn't kill the latter after the first contact?). Secondly, I just fucking hate the psychodelic/magical quest, when you run round around with a mystical tiger, killing these ethereal shamans and shit. It was interesting the first time, but with every subsequent level like that, I died inside a little.

One of my favourite open world games. Super fun gameplay (the duels!); stunning presentation; interesting main and subplots; and original setting made this a super enjoyable experience.

Very good open world game. I really like the setting and the main plot. The best thing however is the combat. Till the end, most of the fights are challenging and fun. The biggest drawback must be the overabundance of the stock open world content. To be honest I would even cut some of the side quests, because the writing isn't consistently good.

Nice atmosphere and story, but the clunky controls and not so great level design make it like a chore to me.

I absolutely hated the mythic elements here, with the giant scarabs and crap like that. It totally spoiled the game for me.

I totally adored this game up until the fucked up race mission. Maybe I'll give the remaster a go?

Fun-wise, this is as good as Starcraft, just in another setting. Too bad it's not possible to legally play the original version anymore. Shame what Blizzard has become after WoW.

It looks like more colourful and uglier Fallout and has many technical issues, but goddamit, isn't it awesome! Really cool story, good mechanics and gameplay, and pretty captivating setting, make it one of my favourite RPGs of all time.

This game holds the record for keeping me for 10 hours straight in front of my computer. You don't need drugs, when you have CM 01/02.

Fantastic game, that deserves a remaster/remake. Captivating, dark story with super natural elements, cool anti-hero, and, of course, the "bullet time". Just awesome!

I cannot actually pinpoint why I disliked this game. For some reason it felt pretty soulless. On paper all the important boxes regarding units, gamelplay, and story are ticked, but despite several tries, I always quit 3-4 missions in.

Never before nor after have I had a better multiplayer experience. Together with my classmates we spent hours in an internet cafe near my high school killing each other and cursing. Pinnacle of simple, yet addictive, online fun!

The game that convinced me to try more FPSs. Good gameplay flow, together with realism and brutality makes this one of the best straight-up shooters I've ever played.

I wouldn't mind the high difficulty level if there was any coherent story, that would make wanna push through the hordes of enemies. As it is now, it's BG with slightly better mechanics, but without any incentive to actually play the game.

Even 20 years ago this was barely playable due to horrible, clunky controls. Good idea though.

Gameplay was a pretty fun hack and slash experience, but I missed the heavy, dark atmosphere of the first one.

Whenever I started doing anything fun in this game, like playing guitar or reading books, I thought to myself: "I can actually do all these things in real life!". Then I turned the game off and switched to another one.

BG2 shows improvement from 1 on basically every level- visuals, sound, gameplay, mechanics. And it is still super enjoyable! I'm actually replaying it right now. By micro-gripe with is the presence of the Mind-flayers. Being something out of gothic, Lovercraftian realms, they just don't fit in my perception of the fantasy setting established by BG1. Still this is one of the best games I ever played.

I really wish there was a timer in this game, so I knew how long I actually played this. For me it was the absolute best NBA Live game, with super fun, fluid gameplay and challenging opponents. Great memories!
