Championship Manager: Season 01/02

Probably, to this day, the best football-related game, and overall one of the best games ever. The pace in particular is perfect, with basically no waiting time except at the end of each season, probably also thanks to a very light interface with no fancy graphics. There is just the right amount of adjustments you can do to your tactics and training. Enough to be interesting, but not too much so you still find it compelling to do the adjustments you need and quickly skip to the interesting part of the game, that is finding the rare pearl for your squad by skimming through the enormous database for hours and hours. The replay value is basically infinite. Without a doubt the game I spent the most time on in my life.
