The character development in the game is just sublime. the writing, the script, the music, the voice acting; everything needed to create a perfect piece of fiction. it s very easy to get attached to characters from the camp or even in the whole story, and it is as easy to despise other characters. Choices affecting outcomes (whether it s minimal or relevant) bring such closure for the Player and a lot of various emotions. The growth of the characters becomes personal, and its inevitability enlightening. Pair all of this with amazing graphics and a huge open world with countless interactions that either feed into the growth of both the player and character; or that feed into the player s appetite for adventure. Grasping the controls isnt hard and making the world you see your own is a simple task, which helps the game truly be a complete package

Although I have yet to complete this game, its complexity is the perfect way to feed into one s hunger for adventure while still being at their desk taking a break from studying/working. Terraria can be played for 10 minutes and be enjoyed, just like it can be played for 15 hours straight and still be fascinating. The lore, even if not mandatory for the playthrough is rich and fulfilling for the people playing with a thirst for fantasy and a magical experience (literally). Unfortunately, the game mechanics arent the simplest to grasp, and its complex evolving system isnt for everyone; the curiosity that it builds is insanely involving. The physics, the lack of them at times, the depth of a supposedly 2D world, the existence of vertical plans; it all adds up to making the game so much more interesting. To sum it up, this game is a big big world with so many small small details that it might give you butterflies.
